Don’t let the title of the article throw you, “The Stupid Idiot’s Guide to Investing Your Little Bit of Money” is filled with useful advice. And it starts with a premise that most of us can understand – that almost all personal financial advice assumes you have money to invest and you’re just waiting for someone to tell you how.

But the truth is, we don’t all have money to invest. And getting the money to invest is a big part of the struggle. We have to do whatever we can to pay student loans, credit card bills, the rent or mortgage payments. We scrape by, week after week and month after month, taking care of a family as well as ourselves.
